All our trainers have vast experience in the fitness field and have been hand picked to cover a wide variety of activities.  We have selected a team of caring and inspirational trainers that can take you to next level. We are proud to work with some of the best sports and health professionals on the Costa del Sol.

Jan Dendauw

Operations Director

Jan has a degree in Business and Marketing but his true passion in life is sports and fitness. A keen competitor from a young age, he has played football for the second team of one of Belgium’s first division clubs and exercises to a very high standard. He has taken part in various half-and full Ironman triathlon competitions and trains regularly to maintain a high level of personal fitness. Jan is coordinating all boot camp administration matters and his job is to make sure you enjoy your stay and that your boot camp experience runs smoothly from when you make your booking until your return home.

 

Dr. Vanessa Garcia Ohnimus

Nutrition Coach

Dr. Vanessa Garcia has obtained her Doctors degree in Malaga, further Dr. Garcia has a degree in Esthetic Medicine, Psychology and Nutrition. Dr. Garcia passionately guides our clients on the path of a healthier lifestyle, making the link between the science of healthy eating and the pshycology related to our eating habits. Her nutrition talks and follow up during the week work are truly inspiring.

Instructor / Boxercise trainer

Apart from being a great trainer Mike brings an amazing amount of positivity, fun and atmosphere to his classes. As a former amateur boxer he shows our clients to basics of boxing and combines this with a full body work out.  Mike is a fully qualified trainer and has over 30 years of experience in boxing and result driven training.

Juanma Gómez

Instructor

Spanish national Juanma is a personal trainer holding the European EQF3 qualification. Juanma is an ex professional indoor football player, who brings his passion for sports and over 15 years experience to the boot camp. Juanma specializes in Running training and takes care of the circuit and functional training on the beach during your Fitness holiday.

Lori Sjollema

Yoga Instructor / Massage Therapist

Lori has devoted herself to learning and moving the body for over 30 years. She began as a professional dancer and has worked for many years in the fitness industry. Certified as a Jivamukti Yoga Instructor Lori has studied many forms of Yoga including Iyengar, Anusara and Ashtanga.  She teaches a ‘flow style’ Yoga yet with deep respect for alignment and restorative postures. She holds regular classes in Marbella, Spain and retreats and workshops throughout Europe and India. She is also trained as a massage and Thai massage therapist.

Sara Blanco

Yoga and Stretching Teacher

Sara has started Yoga at the age of 17. She began as a curious student and naturally progressed her studies to become a certified 500H Yoga Alliance Teacher. Her passion for yoga and its many facets is infinite. It has taught her in a love fully, fun and simple way to experience movement as true medicine.

She has studied under many inspiring international teachers such as Meghan Currie, Chris Chavez, John Friend, Desi Springer, Tina Nance, and Elena Brower. Sara loves to mix different styles and approaches to working with the body, mind and spirit into her classes

Pilates Instructor / Stretching Coach

Ivana Salvatto has several national and international degrees in Machine- and Floor Pilates, she combines this knowledge with over 15 years of experience is the health industry. Ivana is a certified sports massage therapist, she excels as a personal trainer and will be coaching the stretching classes during the boot camp week.

Christian Hendriks

Sports Massage Therapist

When you train hard, you need time to recover and relax. As nothing is as refreshing, revitalising and relaxing as a massage given by a professional. Boot Camp Marbella has selected Christian Hendriks. Christian is a Dutch qualified massage therapist with 15 years of experience, he uses a blend of several massage and pressure point techniques to improve circulation, flexibility and muscle tone. We highly recommend his services.
