Just back from a week in Bootcamp Marbella I found it a fantastic experience. I wanted a week of healthy eating and a kick start to get me back exercising. I saw this camp online and thought I would give it a go. What I did not realise that I would actually really enjoyed myself at the same time.
I loved that everyday was different. We did so many activities such as mountain hiking, cycling, running, circuit training, boxing, pilates, yoga and so on. Jan who runs Bootcamp Marbella was a brilliant coach. He knew the right balance to push us hard but also how to make it fun. It was hard at times, but afterwards you always felt great! We also managed to catch a few rays on the rooftop pool everyday which was a unexpected bonus.
What I loved most about the camp was that we were often taken to restaurants for lunch / dinner and we were encouraged to choose healthy. I had some of the best food I have eaten in years.. just because I looked at the parts of the menu I usually skip over. All the food was so delicious and healthy and you really did not feel like you were missing out.
I left the camp a few pounds lighter, much fitter and most importantly in the right frame of mind to keep going.. I also met some lovely people too which made the whole experience great fun. I will definitely return.
